Role: NEBOSH-Approved Trainer

Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced NEBOSH-Approved Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering engaging and effective NEBOSH IGC courses, supporting learners throughout their study journey, and
helping to elevate the standard of workplace health and safety across Nigeria and West Africa

Qualification & Experience:
• NEBOSH-approved Trainer status (essential).
• Proven experience delivering NEBOSH IGC courses, preferably with a recognised training provider.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, legislation, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and support adult learners from diverse professional backgrounds.
• Flexibility to provide occasional onsite support at our Lagos centre.
• Proficiency with digital learning platforms and e-learning tools is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) training in line with NEBOSH standards.
• Provide live support sessions, webinars, and coaching to learners at our training centres and online.
• Facilitate learner engagement and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with our training administration team to ensure smooth course delivery and exam readiness.

Training Coordinator

Role: Training Coordinator

About the Program::
In collaboration with our clients in the oil and gas sector, Odera Academy is undertaking a national technical development initiative. This programme empowers Nigerian graduates through intensive training and certification in NDT, Welding Inspection, Coating, HSE, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), equipping them for high-impact careers in vital industries. We are currently seeking a Training Coordinator to act as the operational backbone of the programme, overseeing coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure a smooth and impactful execution.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: BSc or HND in Engineering, Sciences, or related disciplines.
• Experience: Strong background in training coordination, curriculum delivery, stakeholder management, and technical reporting.
• Competencies: Proficient in project scheduling, team communication, and compliance documentation.
• Desirable: Knowledge of ISO 29990/21001 learning service standards and experience with client-driven technical training
programmes

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the training calendar, including the scheduling of instructors, workshops, and industrial site visits.
• Liaise with mentors, supervisors, and instructors to synchronise trainee progress and consolidate Fortnightly Development Reports (FDRs).
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly programme reports to clients.
• Proactively flag and address issues related to performance, discipline, and attendance.
• Supervise administrative support and coordinate logistics as needed
